Theory

            Numerology is the study of numbers and their incredible effect on our lives.  Numerology could, however, be better named ‘The Science of Numbers’.  Numbers have been in existence since the beginning of time and predates all Alphabets.

            Numerology tells of our potential destiny, our natural talents, and helps us to gain a better understanding of ourselves and others.  It shows us the pathway we need to take in our lives to fulfill this potential, and also, tells us one of the many reasons why each human has different traits and characteristics.

            Each number has a different vibration, and can therefore give us a better understanding of one’s pathway, and the circumstances which surround our life.  It can direct one to the career best suited to each person, and gives us the opportunity to be more aware of the talents we have and of the pathways we choose to utilize them.  It also tells us of the compatibility we have with another, especially who would be most compatible as a partner for you.  It tells you how you may best help your family and friends, due to the numbers which control their lives.

            Each number is influenced by a different planet in our Solar System.  Each letter of the alphabet vibrates to a given number, 1 – 9, which is also the span of our life cycles.  These numbers under which we were born, plus the numbers in our names, are the tools we are given in order that we may accomplish our mission in life, and enable us to work through all our Karmic Lessons.  The Vibratory Power of each number affects us in both Positive and Negative ways.

            PYTHAGORAS was one of the ‘Fathers of Numerology’, and that was 2,400 years ago.  He was able to apply his knowledge and understanding in practical areas for the needs of mankind.  Pythagoras gained his knowledge of numbers from Egypt and the Near East.  Some researchers have found evidence that Numerology was practiced in Egypt as far back as 13,000 years ago.

HIEROGLYPHICS or Numbers are vibrations which not only vibrate to an energy in the Universe; each vibrates to a different keynote and each is attuned to a different book in the Bible.

            As we gain an individual and deeper understanding of these numbers, we will discover new and deeper meanings to your life and your life’s pathway.

            Your life’s pathway or Destiny Number is found by adding your Birth date, month, and year together and taking it down to the smallest number.  The exception to this rule is the numbers, 11, 22, 33, 44, 55, etc, all these numbers being Master numbers.  Those of us who are aware of our destiny, and steer ourselves toward that goal or career in life, will be able to fulfill our lives to a much greater degree than those who are unaware.  These people consequently become agitated and frustrated because things don’t work out the way they want them to.  This can, of course, also  happen when you do know your true potential because you can use your ‘free will’ to  over-ride the messages your numbers bring.

            There are two types of Numerology  -  Pythagorean and Chaldean.

‘Pythagorean’ is the theory of Pythagoras and is the basis of this study.

‘Chaldean’ is Hebrew theory.  Cadeusis is the symbol of Peace.

          With these numbers it must be remembered that ALL work at the lower level of the numbers. Ie. 2, 4, 6, 8.  This is ok for a time, but at some stage in their lifetime they will need to live up to their Higher Vibration.

NUMBER 1

          1 is Masculine, an introvert and is symbolized by the Crown.  The planet is the Sun and it relates to Aries.  The earth colour is Red, whilst the Spiritual colour is White.  1 is the Great White Flame which holds all seven colours in suspension.  The Tarot card is The Magician.

          1 is Fire  -  the Fire of God.  1 is unity from which all manifestation proceeds.  1 is the first energy that has chosen to seek experiences and establish an identity.  1 is the energy that begins all actions and leads the way in new directions with courage and determination.

          New ideas, new projects and the desire for expansion, all allow the 1 to go ahead with courage, originality and decisiveness.  Opportunities are there for the 1 as he sees the need to open up to the new.

          This vibration is very independent and will do things his own way.  A set routine or pattern is not comfortable to a 1 person.  He sees new ways of accomplishing his tasks and needs the opportunity to organize his system.

          The 1 energy has many talents and his creative ideas can be expressed in many ways.  If he does not live up to the full potential of his leadership, he may be a timid and shy person, because of his lack of self-confidence.

          He may also find that there will be a holding back of his opinions and ideas.  In relationships the 1 vibration is a good companion, but needs the support of his partner.  In marriage he is extremely loyal but not particularly romantic.  To him, deeds, rather than words, show Love.

          He has many talents, which are very successful when used in a leadership capacity.  He is never satisfied working for others, so needs to have a good education.  1 also indicates many new beginnings in his life.

          1 represents the Independent Spark of God.  Those attuned to 1 should have the least difficulty learning how to control the Divine Centre within, and be able to organize the inner and outer life, in accordance with Universal Law, which is perfect and unalterable.

          1 expresses its’ dynamic quality as a gleaming Blue Light.  1 never knows defeat, and those who have come under its’ law have learn that the only failure is in ceasing to try.  1 in its’ highest relationship suggests a return to the Original Source, a reunion with the Divinity within;  Unity contains all forces and is the cause of all things.

          This individual is independent, creative, original and a natural leader.  Where you find a 1, always look for new ideas, originality and individuality, for you see a person who likes to work alone, and is independent in all areas of his life. 

          Great strength and discipline is required as he is seen as an open channel to the God Power on earth.  He will always be interested in original concepts, new places, new situations and unique ideas.

          These people have a deep-seated desire to maintain their goals and their own individuality.  1 is the foundation stone and dominant note in the music scale.  It has two methods of progress only  -  giving forth of itself and the return to it’s original source.  1 individuals need to understand who they are, for they are to become the ‘trailblazers.’

One x 1 

Indicates a person who will have some difficulty with self-expression and communication.  These people find it difficult to give clear explanations of their real selves  -  their true inner feelings.  Self-expression is something that does not come easily to them and it is something that this person really needs to learn.  They must also learn to think before they speak, as the spoken word is impossible to take back.

Two x 1

          A personal 1 year is a powerful year for adjustments, as would be expected after the dynamic year 9.  It is a year of new beginnings and adjustments on all levels, and it is a time to gain inner strength.  It is also a time to take the lead and assert one’s self.

          This number is feminine, extrovert and relates to the star sign Cancer.  The attributes of God are Beauty and Balance.  The planet is the Moon, the physical colour is orange, and the Spiritual colour is gold  -  the Golden Water of Life that brings form to chaos.  The Tarot card is The High Priestess.

The symbol of 2 represents the descent of Spirit into matter.  It signifies the duality in matter, ie:  positive/negative, male/female, day/night, yin/yang, black/white.  It represents the energy choice given to man as he enters the earth plane.  It also brings in the balance of energies so that man is not controlled by matter in the material world. 

2 is the vibration energy of balance, peace and diplomacy, sensitivity, intuition and feeling.  The sensitivity of 2 allows her to strengthen and support her goals and bring harmony in her life.  She is considerate of others, and this consideration can sometimes be interpreted as weakness by others.

It is the year of tact, diplomacy and details.  You have the opportunity to work out the details of projects, which were started in the previous year.  It must be understood that you need to use patience and tolerance and wait for the development of plans that were put forward in the past year.  Things will come to you if you are quiet and receptive, but remember that it takes time for things to come to maturity and fulfillment. 

One must show compassion and understanding in relationships during this time and know that you are the peacemaker and mediator.  Do not walk away from plans and projects started in the one year, just be patient and nurture them, and see the results when you come into the 3 Personal Year.

NUMBER  3

           The number 3 is feminine, introvert.  Attributes of God are might and expression.  The Planet is Jupiter.  The earthly colour is yellow, the Spiritual colour is the Golden Flame or Illumined Gold and represents the dross of the lower nature lifted up and transmuted into the radiance of new life.  Its Aura being as White as snow and as Golden as the Sun.

          The dominant urge of the 3 is an all-permeating desire for a return to a union with the ‘I’  -  The Inner Deity.  The force and power of 3 has been identified with the Trinity by the wisemen throughout the ages.  The equilateral triangle is a symbol of perfection for it contains the Father / Mother principles in harmonious proportions.

          Number 3 people must learn to think and concentrate and not scatter their energies.  They must be able to express their creative abilities and to harmonize their energies with their emotions.  This will help towards perfection.

Number 3s are usually very idealistic.  It is the first number on the mental plane and is the most powerful of the mind numbers.

          Number 14 is a Karmic number and these people need to learn independence, self-initiative, unity and justice.  Their great need in life is to achieve balance, harmony, temperance and prudence.  If  they act cautiously they can be fortunate in money matters or changes in business.  They have the motivation to make a success in anything they do.  They are warm and creative and have a great deal of natural wisdom.

          Number 14 Day people can have a strong negative influence on people, unless they are awake and aware of the conditions which come into their lives.

          This number is one of everlasting movement and brings trials and dangers from a great variety of experiences.  These people sometimes experiment for the sake of experience.  Such behaviour may lead to chaos, but their aim is to try for progressive change and the final joy of renewal and growth.
