Hello, I'm Hummingbird, and I live in the Pacific North West of the US.  My

awakening began just over 10 years ago and has progressed nicely.  And then

while posting on a forum, I received a private message from someone who had

read one of my posts and became a member just to be able to send a message

to me.  That started what I later found was my path here on this plane.  I work 

with younger people who have been diagnosed with ADD ADHD and Bipolar.

Many of these young persons are what we call Chrystals, or Indigo's.

They are highly sensitive and many times are telepaths and empaths.  When

this happens it affects them in many negative ways.  Imagine being able to

know what someone is thinking and not realizing that everyone can't do it too.

It sends them into paranoia and fear.  To the empath who feels way too much

it is a sensory overload that knocks them into next Thursday.  They do not cope

and unfortunately they are given more meds to calm, allay they fears, and

basically shut down.  This is the worst possible outcome for these wonder

ful talented and oh so gifted children.  To hear them tell of the horrors of

knowing that someone is molesting another child (telepathy) and not know

what to do, is heartbreaking,  and to have them describe the total breakdown

of a human system due to cancer or some other dis ease is not to be born.

What I do is talk to them, over the internet for certain, but in a private im session

that sometimes goes on for hours.  What is amazing is the quickness of

their minds, and their ability to grasp so much so fast.  They are quick typists

and know what they want to say, but other than the spelling it is easy to follow

them in their tales.  They hunger for understanding and desire to know and be

taught what is happening.  

To have them connect with their spirit guides and learn to listen to them is

so encouraging.  They fall in love with their Animal Totems and begin

to see the angels around them.  When they finally ask about the Akasha I know

in my heart of hearts that healing is truly on the way, and my part is coming to

a close.

Joanne, I know the work that you and all others is important too.  Without each person and their gifts, we would be less.  Each fits into a spot as a jigsaw puzzle.  Each piece fits into only once place and when we try to make it fit where it doesn't belong, the whole picture is off balance.  In this aspect, we try always to put the right piece in the right place and create a beautiful picture of Spirit Energy.

Wow....Hummingbird, I loved your post on "our different paths"  primarily because at my age of 39 - I still am at a loss of what I want to do with my life.  I have so many things I want to do...but do not know where to start.  

And then I read about Chrystals or Indigo's & am wondering when I was younger did I fit into this category.  I always feel lost & drift through my life.  I have too, been diagnosed with Adult ADD only last year.  And my sensitivity to others is so extreme that I cannot travel on public transport nor work in the city...just too many people.  It honestly destroyed me when I was working in the city.  I would come home & sometimes not be able to get out of bed for 3 days because I would be that exhausted & drained.  I would practically sleep the whole time.  Anyway, I am currently not working & trying to work through this

Anyway, its wonderful to know there are people like you around to help others.
