Hi and welcome to December - the very last month of this very karmic year. Hasn’t the year just flown by! It has certainly been a year of ups and downs for many, but there are life-lessons and experiences to be had no matter who we are, so the main thing is to stay optimistic and positive despite whatever obstacles or challenges present. You’ll find that the right mindset and positive attitude will see you through with surprisingly joyful results.

With Christmas baring down on us, if you haven’t already completed your Christmas shopping (I haven’t even started yet!), please be aware to put some extra thought into your gift-giving this year. Make sure your gifts are ‘gifts’ … not just a token because of the Christmas obligation. Have a good think about the person you are choosing for and consider their likes and interests, lifestyle and desires. It doesn’t have to be expensive – just meaningful.

DECEMBER'S FORECAST

This December in particular is one of 'letting go of the old' and 'looking ahead to the new'. The year 2009 = 11 / 2, with the 11 indicating karmic and life-changing situations and circumstances, asks that you sort out what’s what in your life and be rid of all that no longer suits you. You’ll be wanting to discard the ‘old’ and appraise the ‘new’. Make your choices wisely as they will set the tone for the coming months. This can be on both small and large scales, and it can/will affect all facets of life, including family relations, partnerships careers, financials and the like. If anything has been bothering you these last few weeks (months, years …;), December 2009 is a great time to deal with the issue and be done with it once and for all. There is better and brighter for you just up ahead …

Being the 12th month of the year, December's vibration is made up of the numbers 1, 2 and 3. The energies of the number 1 are to do with new ideas, fresh starts, individuality and ambition. The year 2009 also reduces to the number 2, so the energies of 2 are amplified during this time. The 2 vibration is about seeking 'balance' and that's certainly something that many will struggle with - balancing the bank balance, balancing the food and beverage intake, balancing the emotions … balancing in every way.

2 also signifies the coming together of loved ones and family, and relationships of all kind are highlighted during December. Some will be 're-confirmed' and others may be put under serious scrutiny.

The 2 energy also encourages you to tune into your emotional side and to express your feelings. The 2 energy encourages 'love'. The number 3 is to do with communications and expressing yourself on all levels so during this month of 3, make a point of making contact with family, friends and people you may have lost touch with. Let them know how much you love them.

December is a month of communication. You must speak your mind. Find creative ways to express yourself, eg. writing, singing, taking acting classes and the like. These are all good outlets for your energy this month as they bring increased activity and recognition.

The 3 energy is one of creativity, individuality, fame and celebrations. December, with its 3 vibration, is a great month to stretch your creative muscle with Christmas as a wonderful excuse. Think outside the square when considering gifts for loved ones, and if possible, hand-make or have made a special, well-thought-out gift. It doesn’t have to be expensive to show love and appreciation for others. Put your natural creative talents to action and allow the 3 energy to guide you along.

December is a very happy month in which you may see your efforts begin to show fruit. Best results are attained through a happy mind and when enthusiasm moves into the picture. You can expect delightful surprises and gratification in many areas of your life including business, career, friends and love.. You may find yourself quite busy with more social interaction. Seeds can be planted in the hearts and minds of those around you.

Throughout December you must believe in yourself and the ideas you have been carrying in your heart and mind, but not expressed. Expression and creativity are highlighted. Follow the strong desire for self-improvement in a simple and constructive way as December is a month when the intellect thirsts for expression and knowledge.
